Niclofolan (BAY 9015) is an orally active anthelmintic agent. Niclofolan can be used in the research of parasite infection.
体内研究：
Niclofolan (2 mg/kg, intramuscular injection) is effective against fasciola hepatica infected sheep.Niclofolan (1 or 2 mg/kg, oral gavage ) shows therapeutic effects against P.iloktsuenesis infected rats.Animal Model:fasciola hepatica infected sheep
Dosage:2 mg/kg
Administration:Intramuscular injection
Result:Showed effectiveness against the infection and produced no untoward effects except for transient signs of pain at the site of injection.
Animal Model:Rats infected with P.iloktsuenesis
Dosage:1 mg/kg, daily for 3 days; 2 mg/kg every other day for 2 times.
Administration:Oral gavage
Result:Reduced the worms in rats.
