Copper sulfate pentahydrate, 99% decreases the activities of T-SOD, CAT, and GSH, increases the activities of caspase-3, caspase-8, and caspase-9. Copper sulfate pentahydrate, 99% is cytotoxic to various cells. Copper sulfate pentahydrate, 99% has antioxidant activity. Copper sulfate pentahydrate, 99% can be used in the research of diabetes, Parkinson's disease and DMBA (HY-W011845)-induced tumors.

体外活性：
Copper sulfate pentahydrate (6.25-200 mg/mL; 24 h), 99% 显著降低三种人肠上皮细胞系 (HCT116、HT-29 和 SW480) 的细胞活力。 Copper sulfate (2.4 mg Cu/L; 24 h) pentahydrate, 99% 显著降低斜带石斑鱼 (Epinephelus coioides) 原代肝细胞的活力。 Copper sulfate (5-100 µM) pentahydrate, 99% 对 CHO 细胞生长或抗体产生没有影响，但导致培养物活力出现轻微的剂量依赖性下降。
