(+)-Sotalol ((S)-Sotalol) is the S-isomer of Sotalol (HY-103196). Sotalol is an orally active, non-selective β-adrenergic receptor blocker. (+)-Sotalol is an antiarrhythmic agent. (+)-Sotalol can prolong action potential duration in isolated cardiac muscle.
体内研究：
(+)-Sotalol (8 mg/kg，静脉注射) 抑制程序刺激诱导的犬室性心动过速。Animal Model:Programmed stimulated Dogs
Dosage:8 mg/kg
Administration:Intravenous injection (i.v.)
Result:Increased normal zone ventricular refractoriness, and prevented propagation of programmed ventricular extra-stimuli of sufficient prematurity to elicit tachyarrhythmias.
体外研究：
(+)-Sotalol (1, 10, 100 μM) 在离体心肌中增加动作电位持续时间。(+)-Sotalol (100 μM，60 分钟) 可延长三种细胞类型 (心内膜、心外膜、心肌中部和透壁细胞) 的动作电位。
