MNK1/2-IN-6 is a potent and selective MNK1/2 inhibitor with IC50s of 2.3 nM and 3.4 nM for MNK1 and MNK2, respectively. MNK1/2-IN-6 induces apoptosis in a concentration-dependent manner.

MNK1/2-IN-6 (compound II-5) (72 h) shows antiproliferative activity with IC50s of 0.3896μM, 0.4092 μM for TMD-8, DOHH-2 cells, respectively.MNK1/2-IN-6 (0.25, 0.5, 1 μM; 24 h) induces TMD-8 cells apoptosis in a concentration-dependent manner.
