Anti-inflammatory agent 17 (compound 5b) (10 μM; 24 h) displays no toxicity in J774a.1 cells.Anti-inflammatory agent 17 (1.25, 2.5, 5, 10 μM; 2 h) inhibits the production of IL-6 (IC50=8.254 μM) and TNF-α (IC50=2.576 μM) in J774a.1 cells in a dose-dependent manner.
