Dihydropteroate synthase-IN-1 (compound 5g) is a potent dihydropteroate synthase (DHPS) inhibitor. Dihydropteroate synthase-IN-1 shows antimicrobial activities and antifungal activity. Dihydropteroate synthase-IN-1 inhibits cytochromes P450. Dihydropteroate synthase-IN-1 can bu used as diagnostic radio imaging material.
体外研究：
Dihydropteroate synthase-IN-1 (compound 5g) shows antimicrobial activities with MIC of 24.3, 26.3, 22.8, 20.6, 19.6, 23.2 μg/ml for S. pneumoniae, B. Subtilis, S. epidermidis, E. coli, P. vulgaris, K. pneumonia, respectively.Dihydropteroate synthase-IN-1 shows antifungal activity with MIC of 21.6, 20.3, 20.4 μg/ml for A. fumigates, S. racemosum, G. candidum, respectively.
