Maximum absorption wavelength (λabs)=585 nm, maximum emission wavelength (λem)=609 nm.The JF585-SNAP-tag ligand (24) also functioned as a cellular label. The new HaloTag ligands derived from JF585 and JF635 show a high degree of chromogenicity and fluorogenicity, a critical parameter in advanced imaging experiments.
