LFF-571 is an orally active semisynthetic thiopeptide antibiotic. LFF-571 shows potent activity against a Clostridium difficile and Staphylococcus aureus with MIC values of 0.03 and 0.125 μg/mL, respectively. LFF-571 can be used for the research of infection.
体内研究：
LFF-571 (2 and 20 mg/kg; p.o. once daily for 5 days) survives infection hamster.Animal Model:Golden Syrian hamster with C. difficile infection
Dosage:2 and 20 mg/kg
Administration:Oral gavage; 2 and 20 mg/kg once daily for 5 days
Result:Showed a dose-dependent effect on survival of infection hamster.

LFF-571 (0-32 μg/mL) shows MIC values of ＜0.06, ＜0.06, 0.125, 1 and 0.03 μg/mL for E. faecails, E. feacium, S. aureus, S. pyogenes and C. difficile, respectively.
