生物活性:
Aucubin, an iridoid glucoside, is isolated from Plantago asiatica, Eucommia ulmoides, the leaves of Aucuba japonica and more recently from butterfly larva. Aucubin has many biological activities, such as antioxidant, anti-aging, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, anti-fibrotic, anti-cancer, hepatoprotective, neuroprotective and osteoprotective effects.
体内研究:
Aucubin (5 mg/kg/d;腹腔注射;15 d) 对链脲佐菌素诱导的糖尿病大鼠具有抗氧化和胰腺保护作用。 Aucubin (40-200 mg/kg;腹腔注射,单剂量) 对小鼠 α-amanitin 中毒具有显著的保护作用。Aucubin (5 mg/kg/d;腹腔注射;21 天) 降低呼吸频率,增加 BLM 刺激小鼠肺动态顺应性,减轻肺实质纤维化改变,减轻肺内胶原沉积和炎症损伤。Animal Model:Male Wistar rats (200-230 g) induced diabetes by a injection of streptozotocin
Dosage:5 mg/kg
Administration:I.p. twice daily for the first 5 days, followed by single injections daily for the last 10 days
Result:Increased the body weight of streptozotocin-diabetic rats.Lowered the blood glucose level.Decreased the level of lipid peroxidation and increased the activities of antioxidant enzymes.Increased in insulin immunoreactivity and the number of immunoreactive β cells compared with untreated diabetic rats.
