Cholic acid sodium is a major primary bile acid produced in the liver and usually conjugated with glycine or taurine. It facilitates fat absorption and cholesterol excretion. Cholic acid sodium is orally active.
体内研究：
Cholic acid sodium (1% (w/w) 胆酸补充饮食；口服；14 天) 可能通过上调 miR142-3p 降低 SHP (小异二聚体伴侣) 蛋白表达。胆酸增加 CYP2D6 的表达和活性。Animal Model:Tg-CYP2D6 adult male mice (8 weeks of age and weighing 20–25 g)
Dosage:1% (w/w) Cholic acid-supplemented diet
Administration:Oral, 14 days
Result:Decreases SHP expression and increased CYP2D6 activity.
