FKGK11 is a potent and selective inhibitor of GVIA iPLA2 (Group VIA calcium-independent phospholipase A2). FKGK11 can be used for the research of ovarian cancer and neurological disorders such as peripheral nerve injury and multiple sclerosis.
体内研究：
FKGK11 inhibits tumor development in the xenograft mouse model.FKGK11 shows a significant increase in the number of macrophages and degenerating fibres with disrupted myelin sheaths in cPLA2 GIVA?/? mice and C57BL/6 mice.
体外研究：
FKGK11 shows 99.4 ± 0.1% inhibition of GVIA iPLA2 and only 28 ± 1% for GV sPLA2 at 0.091 mole fraction. FKGK11 reduces adhesion, migration, and invasion of EOC (epithelial ovarian cancer) cells.
